KNWLM Mourns Matriarch, Chief Mrs Florence Morenike Saraki*

On behalf of Kwara  North Women of Like minds  (KNWLM), we express our deepest condolences to our esteemed leader, the 8th Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki (CON), on the passing of his beloved mother, Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki.

The announcement of Mrs. Saraki's passing, made through Dr. Bukola Saraki's Facebook page around 10 PM on the 18th of June, was received by us with great sadness. Mrs. Florence Saraki was a pillar of strength and grace, who, alongside her late husband, Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki (Oloye), left an indelible mark on their community and the nation at large.

We extend our heartfelt sympathies to Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and the entire Saraki family during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the cherished memories and the enduring legacy of their mother.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Saraki family. May Mrs. Florence Saraki's soul rest in eternal peace, and may God comfort the family to accept

It’s no longer a news that Friday 18th February, 2022 will be for the turbaning ceremony of Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje, CON, as the new Tafida of Ilorin Emirate following his appointment about a couple of months ago by His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu Gambari, CFR, the Emir of Ilorin.  Of everything that defines Alh. Kawu Baraje, he is first a teacher, there again, his outstanding career as an administrator and astute politician. Above all, a great philanthropist whose philanthropic gestures extensively cut across Ilorin, its environs and Nigeria at large. Alh.
